Behavioral Grooming & collaborative TCAP Module 1 - DOGS
The Art au Poil Behavioural Grooming (TCAP) based on learning procedures from behaviorist theories, including conditioning, allows the dog to feel safe throughout the grooming process. In TCAP we learn to groom while keeping the dog's motivation high thanks to the neurosciences of learning.
The Art au Poil school has built up an international reputation over the years thanks to the quality and updating of its training courses.
The Art au Poil Team undergoes continuous training, several times a year throughout the world, in order to be able to pass on to you a refined and always up-to-date knowledge. Our knowledge is thus regularly re-evaluated according to the latest scientific discoveries in animal behaviour and the opening up of consciousness.
Would you like to be part of this beautiful movement and thus promote professional services that are sought after above all by the clientele, in addition to having a background of scientific knowledge underpinning the behavioural grooming model taught at Art au Poil?
You are an animal lover, a dog owner, an aspiring groomer, an experienced groomer, a veterinarian or an animal professional (shelter or pet store) and you are sometimes at a loss when faced with animals that exhibit anxious, agitated or aggressive behavior? You would like to be able to better advise on animal behavior? You are a groomer but you are starting to suffer from physical and/or moral exhaustion? You can't stand the pressure of chasing big dogs anymore? Being underpaid for the hard work you do? Do you feel like you're fighting with animals to groom all day long? This certification will change your outlook, your relationship with the animal and definitely your life !
Come join us for a 3 days Certification in behavioural approach with none other than Yanick Dion, animal behaviour specialist lecturer and the Art au Poil school! They offer you an innovative, unique and non-traditional grooming model and various manipulations.
This conference aims to strengthen your professional skills with canine behavioural skills.
Learn to assess the emotional state of dogs on arrival.
Learn how to better manage situations in multiple circumstances with a positive reinforcement approach.
Our behavioural approach aims to reduce restraints and eliminate negative interactions while reducing the animal's stress. What could be better than to work from A to Z with the collaboration of the animal, without imposing our will.
With the behavioural grooming notions and the behavioural approach in the veterinary clinic, your working days will never be the same again!
To end each day with the pride of having contributed to changing the perception of the animal, with the satisfaction of having taken another step towards the collective evolution of the well-being of dogs and cats.
These days open you up to a new understanding of the professional behavioural approach based on the laws of learning from behavioural science.
Our approach aims to gain the animal's trust through positive interactions, R+ positive reinforcement, giving him the opportunity to make choices and choosing the least intrusive interventions possible.
Your new knowledge will enable you to improve your working conditions and thus live your job in a harmonious state of mind.
